History of Tekken

- - - - - - - - - -

Pre-Tekken
Jinpachi Mishima, hailed aslegendary fighter, founded the Mishima Zaibatsu. However, it wasn't long before his own son, Heihachi Mishima, was to over throw his father and take over his company. The first in a long list of the Mishima bloodline's betrayals...

Tekken 1
Heihachi Mishima, Head of the Mishima Zaibatsu, sponsered a martial arts tournament known as 'The King of Iron Fist Tournament'; it brought together fighters from all across the globe together in an attempt to prove their strength and defeat Heihachi for a chance to win the Mishima Zaibatsu for themselves. However, of all the people that challenge Heihachi, only one could be called his equal - his son, Kazuya Mishima. He was the only one strong enough to defeat his father, taking the Zaibatsu in the process.

Tekken 2
Now Head of the Mishima Zaibatsu, Kazuya made plans of world domination... The announcement of 'The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2' being the first step towards his goal. But there was one thing that Kazuya hadn't counted on, himself falling for a mysterious woman - Jun Kazama. Though, that hadn't stopped him from fulfilling his dream of winning the tournament and conquering. Heihachi did! He entered the tournament and succeeded in reclaiming the Mishima Zaibatsu from his son.

Tekken 3
After the second tournament, Jun Kazama relised that she had fallen pregnant with Kazuya's son. She trained her boy to fight from a young age, until she was forcefully taken away from her son by a monsterous creature. In an attempt to find his mother, Jin Kazama, found his grandfather Heihachi as his mother told him to. Jin trained with Heiachi, and following this, entered the 'King of Iron Fist Tournament 3' with Heihachi's guidence. It was then that the monster appeared re-appeared. With his mother's killer before him, Jin lost control, something inside him awoke. With the devil inside taking over, Jin destroyed the Ogre!

Tekken 4
Still in control over his company, Heihachi began a search for Jin. Though, instead he came across a photograph a badly burned man, one he knew could only be Kazuya. Upon looking further into this, he came across a company known as the G Corperation, who appeared to be doing various experiments on his body. Outraged that Kazuya was still alive, Heihachi Mishima led the Tekken Force to the G Corperation to kill his son once nd for all. However, it hadn't gone as planned and Kazuya escaped.

But it was only a matter of time before he re-surfaced. Heihachi knew that Kazuya couldn't turn his back on 'The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4', after all, it was his chance to take the Mishima Zaibatsu from him. Jin Kazama also entered the tournament, just as Heihachi had anticipated. Not even Kazuya could defeat Jin, but after an epic battle between father and son, Jin was weakened enough for Heihachi to capture him. Heihachi did so in an attempt to take their power from them, but the devil awoke within Jin again, giving him the power to escape.

Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection
Immediately following Devil Jin's escape, the building was attacked by an army of Jack robots. Presumably sent by the G Corperation. Kazuya and Heihachi fought side-by-side to stay alive, but it was only a matter of time before one of them betrayed the other. Kazuya threw his father into the Jacks to be caught as a distraction for his own escape. Th Jacks piled on Heihachi and huge self-destruct explosion blew the place to smithereens. Heihachi was declared dead, yet 'The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5' was announced.

Many fighters joined the struggle, yet it Jin's power was still unmatched. He came to the final match in the tournament to discover that the prior explosion released Jinpachi Mishima from where Heihachi had sealed him away. Renowned a fighting legend, even he stood no chance against Jin.

Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion
Jin Kazama, being the winner of the fith tournament, became the new Head of the Mishima Zaibatsu. Instead of scrapping the corperation like most would expect, Jin declared war on the world. The G Corperation rose to be the only thing to stand in Jin's way of complete control.

Tekken: Devil's Requiem
Being the one to find Jin first, Raven is the only witness to his ‘resurrection’. A dark purple aura emanates from his body as Jin is lifted into the air, his black feathered wings tearing from his back and spreading to their limits whilst horns rip out of his head. With a furious growl, Devil Jin then races forward, knocking Raven flying and toppling one of the vans before flying out of sight.

The Devil's Requiem begins...
