Name: Jin Kazama
Race: Human / Devil
Gender: Male
Age: 21
Appearance: Jin has his black hair, styled back into a point, much like his father's. However, his also has parts or his fringe coming down over his face, likely to be inherited from his mother's side and his eyes are brown to match his dark hair color. Due to his extensive training, Jin has a very muscular physique, giving him much natural strength to go with his well-practiced technique. On Kazama's left arm is a distinct tattoo, the sign of the devil's presence within him.
While working, heading the Mishima Zaibatsu, Jin tends to wear a black suit. Though, he usually wears his combat attire. This consists of a matching pair of foot pads and gauntlets; the pads are fairly plain red with black straps around his foot, and his gauntlets are similar in color, but with a triangle of circular metal studs across the back of his hand. These are to increase the damage done by his quick back-hand strikes, and to hurt when he blocks certain moves. Jin has a flame running up his right trouser leg fading from orange at his ankle and red at the top, the rest is left plain with a black belt tied around his waist, a yellow rim on the top and bottom. He neglects to wear a top, to not only show off his muscle but to prevent any tops from restraining any movements.
Personality: Tending to be a quiet person that doesn't talk much, and a distrustful one, Jin lacks true 'friends'. He has only acquaintances and the people that work for him. His lack of trust isn't a surprise really, not with his family. Usually, Jin is quite a calm and collected guy, always having a plan and keeping his cool during a fight. Though, ever since he discovered the Devil within him, he had to keep full control over his emotions. After all, if he let's his rage control him, the beast is let loose. And when that happens, Jin becomes a completely different person; all sense of rationalisation is gone and all that remains is the will to destroy!
Fighting Style: Jin has been trained in three different martial arts. The first being 'Kazama-Style Self-Defence fighting arts', taught by his mother when he was young. But, when under the care of his grandfather, Heihachi Mishima, was trained the arts of 'Mishima-Based Karate'. Although these two are no longer his primary technique, he uses a few moves from those styles; however, he more recently mastered 'Traditional Karate'.
Strengths: Jin's extensive training in various styles give him a variety of moves which he is capable of executing with precision including various counter-attack that require perfect timing. Along with this trained combat skill, Jin's muscular build gives him quite a bit of strength behind his attacks. He may not be the strongest or fastest of fighters, but he is far from weak or slow, being a good all rounder.
Weaknesses: A weakness of Jin's is his lack of combo attacks; Jin's fighting style relies more on a few quick but powerful counter-attacks rather than chaining moves together which can be a problem against defensive opponents. A flurry of quick attacks would be helpful at times.
Special Skills: Devil Jin - Jin Kazama, because of his Devil Gene, has the power to enter an uncontrollable Devil form; this form increases all of his attributes such as speed and strength by half. As he enters this Devil form, Jin grows large horns from his head and black feathered wings sprout out of his back allowing flight. Chains also appear wrapped around various parts of Devil Jin's body, visually representing the fact that the trapped Devil within Jin as broke free. This form has quite strict limitations: it can only be used once per RP, but only when Jin is desperately losing a battle, or in times of emotion such as his rage when fighting Kazuya, Heihachi or Jinpachi Mishima.
Thunder Crimson Beam - When in his Devil Form, Devil Jin, he is capable of shooting a laser beam from his head; it comes from the red part within the newly formed tribal tattoos on his forehead. Although this attack is devastatingly powerful, it also hurts Jin's head after doing so, like a sharp pain rushing into his forehead. This attack can only be done once every five posts.
History:Son to Kazuya Mishima and Jun Kazama, Jin was born in the mountains. His mother fled there after ‘The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2’, where she raised him herself. She trained him from a young age in her ‘Kazama-Style Self-Defence’ fighting arts. He trained hard and was a natural fighter, getting better with each day. He and his mother grew close, until she was taken away from him by Ogre. Jin set out to save Jun, but had a feeling it was already too late, but swore he would get revenge.
By his mother’s wishes, Jin Kazama sought out his grandfather – Heihachi Mishima. Finding him was easy, and he too began training Jin in the art of ‘Mishima-Based Karate’. It was his idea though, Jin wanted to be as strong as he could for the day he met the Ogre. With Heihachi’s guidance, Jin then entered ‘The King of Iron Fist Tournament 3’. Jin surpassed all of Heihachi’s expectations and progressing through the tournament easily. It was during this tournament that Ogre made a re-appearance. With his mother’s killer right before his eyes, something inside Jin snapped, a new-found power racing through his veins. After defeating Ogre, Heihachi betrayed Jin, ordering his soldiers to kill Jin. He was shot down, presumably killed, but a power inside that took over, rage taking control over his body. The Devil within was released! Devil Jin charged at Heihachi, smashing him through the wall and fleeing.
It wasn't until 'The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4' was announced that Jin re-surfaced. Before then, he had hidden himself from the world, training in a dojo somewhere in Australia to learn his most recent fighting style; 'Traditional Karate'. He entered the fourth tournament in hope of this new fighting style being enough to not only win the tournament but defeat both Heihachi and Kazuya. Though, this didn't come to pass, before the finals, Jin was captured by the Tekken Force under Heihachi's command. He who captured Kazuya as well, presumably the same way, and wished to take their power for himself. However, the Devil awoke within Jin, giving him the power to escape after defeating the two of them. He had Heihachi and prepared to make the killing blow, but something stopped him: a flash of his mother. He figured that Jun wouldn't want that, no matter how evil they were, they were family. He didn't have to kill them... But he didn't have to like them either.
Hearing rumours of Heihachi's death, Jin is puzzled by the announcement of the fifth tournament; 'The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5'. After defeating a variety of opponents, Jin Kazama came to realise that the one who had hosted this tournament was his great grandfather - Jinpachi Mishima! He was assumed dead, but it appeared that Heihachi had sealed him underground. Jinpachi was far from human though, he was clearly not himself, but had a demonic form. Even so, Jin and the Devil Gene were enough to defeat him, making Jin the winner of the tournament and earning himself the Mishima Zaibatsu.
However, instead of destroying the company like most would have expected due to his hatred for his heritage, he began to head the Mishima Zaibatsu. And with all that power, Jin declared war on the world. The only one to stand in his way was his father, Kazuya, now in control of the G Corporation. However, Jin's plans were not world domination, this was all apart of a plan to awaken Azezal. Jin knew that it was only a matter of time before the incarnation of evil was to rise, and that when it did, it wipe out the human race. But, if Jin were to face it, with the Devil Gene, he could kill the beast before it could destroy us all. The plan was a success. Jin Kazama allowed the Devil's power to surround his body and charged at Azezal, punching a hole through it's chest and falling into the centre of the Temple. After it's defeat, the whole Temple fell apart, sinking back into the sand. Jin, However, was left face down in the sand...
Jin Kazama: Devil's RequiemRP Sample: Jin Kazama’s office, top floor of the Mishima Zaibatsu. It was extraordinarily large for an office, but what kind of millionaire doesn’t have one? Jin Kazama was currently training, in his combat attire, of course. With each thrust of his arm, the sand-filled punch bag swung back with an imprint of his fist, the bag not standing a chance against his physical strength. Anyone could see that he was a strong fighter, his lack of top clearly showed his toned muscular physique and the gauntlets he wore made it clear that he didn’t get that shape from jogging, combat was area of expertise. Sliding his foot back to adjust his position, Jin then swung his right leg with great force, the flame design running up it nothing more than a blur with the rapid movement. Upon impact, the punch bag swung up to left side getting horizontal and left with no choice but to swing back like a pendulum, by which time, Jin had pulled back one hand with a charge of what appeared to be red electricity flowing over one fist ready to obliterate the bag when it came back… But he stopped.
*Buzz, buzz*
Jin allowed his arm to drop to his side, and relaxed a bit, taking a fully stood up pose rather than his battle stance. He then leaned his head forward a little as he ran his left hand across the top of his head, readjusting his hair. He accompanied this action with a small sigh, at the interruption of his training. He turned away from the punch bag, which was now left swinging from side-to-side slightly, and began walking towards his desk.
*Buzz, buzz*
Reaching out to his desk, Jin grabbed his mobile phone from on the corner. He flipped it open with a flick of his thumb to answer the call and put it to his ear;
“What is it?” He asked, a long-winded reply following his simple question. Jin slumped down in his chair, he didn't hang up so it must have been important but the look on his made it seem as though he was particularly uninterested in what the caller had to say.
Suddenly, the sound of smashing glass filled the room. Soldiers abseiling down the walls and kicking their way through the windows into Jin’s office! They must have landed on the roof! Jin immediately shot to his feet, shock and outrage slapped cross his face. He completely ignored the phone call now, and instead of telling the caller to sound the alarm, Kazama swung his arm back and launched the mobile across the room. The phone twizzled through the air and smacked one off the soldiers straight in the face. It cracked apart, but the impact knocked the soldier straight off of his rope so that he would inevitably fall several stories to his death. Leaping over to one of the intruders, Jin swung an unexpected kick at him, a nasty connection to his chin knocking him down. As he turned, the Head of the Zaibatsu knocked aside the gun this soldier pulled up to shoot him, and followed up with powerful punch knocking him back to smack his spine awkwardly on the edge Jin's desk. The last of the unit that attacked followed a similar fate...
Jin turned after taking them all out, brusing himself down with a staisfied smirk on his face. One that was swept away as soon as he saw Kazuya Mishima stood before him. Jin thought that these men must have been G-Corperation soldiers, and this confirmed it. With his father attempting what appeared to be a hostile takeover, Jin lost his cool, rage and hatred filling his heart. Falling to his knees with a scream of pain, a pair of feathered black wings tore out of his back and large horns slowly forced themselves out of Jin's head. An aura surounded him as lightning flowed across his body, the power within him coming out all at once. He had now lost control, the Devil within had been released! Devil Jin then shot forward with impossible speed, tackling Kazuya and diving out of the window with him...
